Product Overview:
Prosan Extra Strength Detergent Chlorine Tablets provide a one-stage sanitizing solution with added detergent for effective cleaning and disinfection of non-porous hard surfaces. These fast-dissolving tablets deliver 2,000 ppm available chlorine, making them ideal for healthcare, catering, and hygiene-critical environments.

  • Combines chlorine biocide with anionic detergent for cleaning and disinfecting in one step 

  • Broad-spectrum efficacy against bacteria (MRSA, E. coli, Pseudomonas), fungi, spores (C. difficile), and viruses (including coronavirus) 

  • Certified to EN 1276, EN 1650, EN 13697, EN 13704, EN 14476, EN 17126 standards 

  • Fast-dissolving and easy-to-dose (3.34 g NaDCC per tablet) 

  • Virtually non-corrosive on common metals (avoid brass/copper); may bleach fabrics 

Active Ingredient per Tablet:

  • Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) – 3.34 g, providing 2,000 ppm chlorine 

Application Area:
Non-porous hard surfaces (walls, floors, tiles, medical equipment, catering areas, clinical zones)

Usage Instructions:

  1. Dissolve 1 tablet in 1 L of potable water to create a 2,000 ppm sanitizing solution (adjust volume for lower concentrations) 

  2. Apply using mop, cloth, or spray to thoroughly wet surfaces.

  3. Allow contact time of 5 minutes for general disinfection; extend to 10 minutes for spore-forming organisms like C. difficile 

  4. Prepare a fresh solution daily or each shift.

  5. Rinse surfaces in food areas or leave to air-dry elsewhere.

  6. Rinse and air-dry reusable cleaning equipment after use.

  7. Store unused tablets in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

  8. Always wear PPE and follow safety guidelines.

Storage Conditions:
Store sealed in original container, in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat, sunlight, and soft metals. 

Shelf Life:
Up to 5 years under proper storage; solutions should be freshly prepared within 24 hours.

Tablets (single-dose); solution reusable within 24 hours
